Iqoo 11 is undoubtedly an almost perfect phone that ticks most of the vital boxes that define what a true flagship smartphone really is. Let me state the individual Pros and Cons of this device here for quick and easy understanding:Pros:1. Great display. It has a flat E6 LTPO4 AMOLED display with 144hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness when using HDR mode. I personally like flat displays more than curved ones. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front.2. Great build quality. I like the Alpha (black) version more as it has a matte glass finish as opposed to the white (Legendary edition) which has a vegan leather back with a bright strip of red blue and green (brandishing its BMW partnership) but for some reason I find that design really off putting. The Alpha edition looks really premium and classy (And also very minimalistic!).3. Performs like a total beast. This shouldn’t be surprising as it has the world’s fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor inside and it gets a very respectable score of 88% in CPU throttling test which shows how stable the processor is under heavy workloads.4. Great battery life and less charging time. It has a 5000mah battery which gets fully charged in 20-21 minutes. It gets 50 % charged in 8 minutes ! If you are a moderate user then you can easily get 6 hours + screen on time. The processor and the display are also power efficient which also helps in getting good battery backup on this phone. You also get a 120 W charger along with this phone.5. Good Speakers. You get stereo speakers though the output is not exactly same from both of them. The earpiece on the top of the phone works as a speaker and when you use it as a speaker it’s contribution to the stereo audio is like 40%. Rest of the heavy lifting (60%) is done by the speaker on the bottom of the phone.6. Good Primary Camera. The main rear camera is really good. It is a 50 MP camera with OIS and can shoot 8K in 30 fps, 4K in 30 and 60 fps etc. You get great image quality with accurate colors and good dynamic range. The two other cameras are 13 MP (telephoto) and 8MP (ultrawide). I will talk about this more in the Cons section. The front facing camera is 16 MP which can only shoot 1080p in 30 fps only. There is no 4K rec option over there.Cons:1. No IP rating. If this phone had IP68 rating then it would have been so great. I miss this important feature on this otherwise great phone.2. 13 MP telephoto camera is just okay but the 8 MP ultrawide is downright bad. I don’t understand why Iqoo didn’t go with let’s say 16 MP Ultrawide camera or even 12 MP for that matter. 8 MP is a bummer. It is not reliable and it can’t do much. Even if we look at direct competitors of this device, namely Xiaomi 13 and Motorola x40, the situation is similar. You get a 50 MP, 12 MP, 10 MP camera system in the Xiaomi 13 and a 50 MP, 50 MP, 12 MP camera system in Motorola X40. Both the front facing selfie cameras on this devices are on a higher megapixel count than the Iqoo 11 at 32 MP (XIaomi 13) and 60 MP (Moto X40). I am not saying the front facing camera on Iqoo is bad… it takes great photos but IQOO could have easily provided a 32 MP front camera system at the very least. It also has no 4K recording capability. Even full HD videos are limited to 30 fps and there is no OIS on the front facing camera. Even with this high powered processor Iqoo is not offering 4K videos recording on the front. But that is unfortunately also the case with many Chinese phones including Xiaomi 13 and others. MotoX40 can however record 4K in 30 fps from front camera.3. You get funtouch OS on Android 13 out of the box. While it has many bloatwares which is quite unfortunate. You can also easily remove them and make your phone clean. There are some apps however that at first glance will seem can only be disabled at beast and not uninstalled but believe me even they can be uninstalled from the system. For that you need to download Universal Android Debloater and then you can easily remove it from your phone. Take the help of any YouTube video on how to do that. After you get rid of all these bloatwares the UI becomes very clean and minimalist kind of setup and I literally have no issues with this OS. It is greatly optimized and works really well.Saying that, there aren’t too many issues with this device and that is why I said that this is an almost perfect phone. I don’t use Ultrawide camera too much so it being a poor performer out of the three isn’t a deal breaker for me. Yes IP rating is not there but then nothing can be done about it now and otherwise this phone is just perfect. Finally if you are confused between One Plus 11 and Iqoo 11 let me just say that One Plus is now trash and Iqoo 11 is the best phone in 2023 as of now.

As of now I have spent quite some hours out of the 48 owning this phone on Genshin Impact and it has no issues playing it on highest graphic settings. The charging is pretty fast too, does 100% in less than my breaks between gaming time of 40 mins… Quite a good upgrade compared to my Poco F1 which I had been using for 4 years… Only time will tell if this one can match the longevity of Poco F1 which I admire a lot!!

Display, design, performance, charging speed and battery are up to the mark. But cameras quality need to be improved, not worth for this price. They may improve in future through updates. Speakers are not up to the mark(missed Dolby Atmos).Thank you.

Here is what I think about the phone after using it for 10 days:Pros:The 2K E6 120Hz sAmoled display is supersmooth and super crisp. Watching Netflix is a treat on this phone.Battery life is WAY too good for an Android flagship. I would just say SoT is PHENOMENAL if you’re on Wifi, and amazing on 4G or 5G.Games run even smoother than the old 8 Gen 1.Cameras (Main 50MP & 13MP Portrait) are good and even perform fine in low light conditions.Design is subjective but I love the Legend variant because of the BMW Strips.Haptics are good.Cons:8MP Ultrawide camera is not satisfactory. Although there is not much of color shift while switching between lenses, still UW Camera shots are not crisp and detailed.
