Recently, there has been a new device that is making waves in the gadget market and that is the Huawei P40 Lite. This review is going to be focused on the product, but not going to try and justify why it is one of the best phones currently available. The Huawei P40 Lite is a beauty both on the outside and inside. And some splash protection to keep the insides safe would have been thoughtful, but Huawei has never had that as a priority in the midrange. We do appreciate the fast charging capabilities and the colorful panels, and we can’t wait to unbox the P40 Lite. Let’s begin! This is because the reviews will focus on a few of the key features and will not try and go into anything but the point of review – how well does the P40 Lite perform? This will show the reliability of the company as well as how good the phone can be for you, so let’s take a look.
The first thing that anyone should notice about the Huawei P40 Lite is the build quality. If you are used to cheap plastic, this probably won’t bother you, but the Huawei P40 Lite feels better than most phones on the market and is very sturdy as well. Some of the buttons feel less sturdy than others, but the main keyboard does feel really nice. The P40 Lite has a battery with impressively large capacity and supports the blazing-fast Huawei SuperCharge 40W. Oh, and spoiler alert, the proprietary 40W charger comes in the box! There is a USB port at the bottom of the phone, which allows for charging and also a micro USB connector, which can also be used to hook up your headphones or USB cables, similar to how many other phones have that option. This USB port can also be used to charge other batteries, such as flash memory or the internal battery.
Another good thing about the Huawei P40 Lite is the level of customization and personalization that it offers. The phone comes with many different skins to choose from, which includes a skin that changes the camera from black and white to red, a themed skin for the home screen and many more. The phone will also allow you to download more themes, but a simple background wallpaper might suffice for the most basic skins.
